Data Validation & Testing Team
Challenge: A multi-national publishing company with an ongoing, but transitional need for cost-effective resources to critically review and quality assure a high volume of electronic tax form documents was struggling to maintain a capable, motivated and somewhat season-to-season workforce.
Approach: SPR/nAblement business development team members approached the client to identify the primary challenges, role requirements, logistics, training and other key factors in order for them to explore the opportunity and define how the nAblement model could bring value to the client and provide consistent and reliable output from team members.
Solution: The SPR/nAblement team began identifying and screening prospective candidates for the tax forms team. The process included a face-to-face interview covering the candidates’ background, interests, any logistical challenges, reasonable accommodations, communication and team skills, and a clear overview of the role. Additionally, every candidate wishing to be considered was required to review and edit/correct a written document which had been created for purposes of screening candidates to be critical in their review and quality assurance of documents – the primary role on the tax forms team. The written “quiz” continues to be used to establish a baseline by which to compare and consider candidates for submission to the client’s tax forms manager for candidacy consideration. The SPR/nAblement team maintains close contact with the manager of the tax forms team as well as each of their consultants throughout the engagement. Based on this process, the SPR/nAblement team has been able to consistently provide a critical mass of capable and motivated resources to the client and is exploring other areas of data validation and testing where nAblement candidates can excel. The SPR/nAblement team has successfully placed multiple team members and continues to maintain a strong, ongoing relationship with the client as the team grows and transitions. Additionally, the nAblement recruiting team actively screens for these skills in order to assure a robust pipeline of candidates for this client and others with similar skill set needs.
